The hotel is located in an industrial area and not easy to see from the main road. We also learned it was in a wannabe “Fast n Furious” location as multiple times throughout the night, cars could be heard racing and police sirens would be heard moments later. We were pretty sure the parking lot of the hotel was a gathering place as one vehicle woke us up around 2:30AM with the sound and vibrations of starting up.
There was only one woman working the front desk and she was, understandably, flustered. She had to personally walk to the room to make sure it had been cleaned before returning to the desk to complete our check-in. She also informed us that the lobby would have no staff from 11PM - 8AM, and to get back into the hotel by using a side entrance versus the lobby.
The room was plain and smelled as though an air freshener had been released in it. The beds were made and they sheets appeared clean. The bathroom was gross. The sink was not caulked and you could easily moved the faucet. The toilet had a hard water line and would randomly run. The tub had a ring and the shower had mold in the corners and some areas of the grout. The towels looked washed but were stained. We also saw what appeared to be a cockroach run across the bathroom floor.
Overall, we would not stay here again. I would say we got what we paid for; however, we have stayed at other hotels/motels at the same rate and had wonderful experiences. This place was sketchy at best.
