Very cool home and looks exactly as depicted! Very comfortable and equipped with anything you might need! The hosts are so nice, helpful and quick to respond. We were moving our daughter into U of A and it was an easy drive over to the University. Nice neighborhood too!
Authentic and surprising touches from Bali.
Well equipped with every need, clean and comfortable. The hosts are delightful people which added to the enjoyment of being there the first week in April with perfect temperatures.
We've stayed in at least 20 different vacation rental properties. This will definitely be one of the most memorable. The Bali house was clean, convenient, and had anything we could need. I never realized before how helpful it is to have two different towel patterns so you didn't have to worry about mixing up your towel up with your partners. Having extra towels, including dish towels in case we needed them was appreciated. I met the host and wish I had had more time to talk to them, they were warm and so welcoming. It's obvious they spent a lot of time making their guest house as warm and hospitable as possible. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was probably better stocked than my own. The house had cable channels which is a step above most places we've been that just offer Wi-Fi and a smart tv. I wasn't home much because I was in Tucson for an event and to visit family but when I was there it felt homey. I would highly recommend the Bali house. The only negative I could think of is that a lot of light comes in the bedroom windows in the morning. It makes the room beautiful during the day but could impact sleeping in in the morning if you're a night owl.
The Bali House is a very unique property in a quiet neighborhood. The rental was filled with beautiful artwork and intricate wood carvings, as well as lovely furniture and a very peaceful outdoor seating area. The master bedroom bed was really comfortable. The mid-Tucson location (Arroyo Chico area) was perfect for us, since we were visiting friends and family on both the northern and southern limits of the city. It is also a very easy (15-25 minute) walk to Reid Park and the El Con Mall. The kitchen and bedroom are fully stocked with everything you need and the check-in/out was easy.
The Bali House is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Stepping out into the courtyard in the morning I could hear the birds chirping. My wife and I stayed here 7 nights. The unit is spacious so we never felt cramped even though we both were doing exercises in the morning. There is a walk-in closet so you can put your luggage and other paraphernalia out of sight. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and utensils you might need for serious cooking and there is a large countertop. Over the years we have stayed at four different VRBOs in Tucson and this is easily the best of them.
Short of going to the island of Bali, this was the next best thing! Beautifully furnished and decorated, with a large private garden to hang out in any time of day, our stay at the Bali House literally made us feel transported. We will be sure to book again when we return to Tucson in the future!
Very eclectic vibe, certainly. The property was clean and well kept. Only two issues that I had was a very slow internet speeds over the WiFi, and the second issue was that it wasnât clear to me that the 2nd bedroom (the Bali Room) does not have access to the single bathroom. Other than that, beds were comfortable, A/C was nice and cold (outside was high 90âs and 100 while we were in Tucson) and the property is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. I didnât have to communicate with the property manager as we were out touring around most of our stay.
We loved our stay at The Bali House. It was a vacation within a vacation. The house is exactly as described - absolutely the most unique accommodations we've ever experienced within the Continental USA. Highly recommeded! We don't visit Tucson often, but would want to stay again when we return.
We had a really wonderful time during the monsoon, dropping off our son for his freshman year at UofA. The place is exactly as promised, with a lot of outdoor space and very helpful and responsive hosts. The table tennis was a special highlight, as were the afternoons and evenings in the outdoor space feeling the thunderstorms but not getting soaked
Wonderful stay. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Super responsive host and very welcoming. Provided great recs for restaurants. So much lovely outdoor space as well as beautiful collection of art and furniture. Misha is a very friendly cat.
My spouse and I had such a great time at the Bali House during our nine-night stay in March, 2023. Centrally located in a nice neighborhood, the house is convenient to lots of attractions within and outside Tucson, and yet was quiet, with any road noise faint. The pictures on the site are great yet still donât do this home justice! The house itself has a well-sized kitchen/dining/living room area and a roomy bedroom and bathâand itâs fully stocked, including kitchen utensils, bathroom amenities, and laundry needs. The enclosed patio with the Bali room is a beautiful oasisâprivate with multiple seating areas. Our hosts, Dennis and Juana, were very welcoming, courteous, and helpful. We tried several of their suggested restaurants from the house guide and thoroughly enjoyed each. We definitely plan to stay at the Bali House again when our travel plans take us back to Tucson.
Filled with Indonesian art and artifacts, the house if fully equipped for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The outdoor spaces are as gorgeous as the house and are perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!
