The room looked good with vinyl planking floor. The issue was after sleeping the night there, my wife was attacked by bedbugs. We always check the bed , but didn't check the pillows. A very bad experience. Bites were so bad she had to go on Prednisone.
The people at the hotel were very nice, but though the room was clean, some of the furniture had seen better days and some of the coffee items were missing. The beds were comfy, but this was more of a bare bones stay and the room was pretty reasonably priced for what we got. Nothing fancy. Rooms opened to the outdoors.
There's nothing around it but other hotels..
They allow dogs - yay! My senior parents and I stopped for a rest on our road trip. We were VERY thankful they had a 1st floor room available, as my mom doesn't do stairs well and there is no elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had 2 small problems that were quickly resolved; breakfast was great; love the fridge and microwave in the room. Their recommendation of the Roadhouse for dinner was spot-on. We did hear the people upstairs walking around in the middle of the night.
Wasn't the cleanest hotel. Rooms didn't smell great. On the positive side, I was alone during my stay and felt safe. Friendly staff and nice location. I was disappointed by the breakfast!
