Everything you need here at Salt, Kingscliff. A variety of restaurants and food options. Patrolled beach, pool, tennis and great walking / cycling path. Our room was freshly painted and clean. We chose the breakfast option and the buffet had a great variety.

The room was fine but the view of the construction site across the road wasn't ideal. Also, impossible to get a coffee or any food/beverage service before midday (I know there are options in the food strip around the corner). The ice-cream freezer near the main pool bar was empty most of the time - it's summer? There just didn't seem to be a lot of staff on hand. Reception team were nice.

Very large hotel which made it a long trek to the room. Very dated. Our bathroom had not been cleaned and despite asking for room service to clean it, after their visit it was still only marginally better and evident that they had not cleaned the shower or bath (based on purple shampoo on the tiles and dirt on the bath that I then easily removed with a wet tissue).

The room was clean, the air conditioning was on prior to our arrival on a very warm day so that was fabulous. The room was soundproof so that was great when the band was on downstairs and we’d had a big day of socialising/wanted some quiet time.

never had the room cleaned over the 4 days we stayed there. had to use the same towels for the duration of the trip. we asked the hotel for new towels on the second day, she said she’ll get a hold of room service for us. we never heard from them again. room was very small and didn’t have anything. for $1800 it was definitely a rip off. one bed with no kitchen. no clean towels. no room service. nothing. wouldn’t recommend this room again. 2/5
