We loved cozy Little Cove with its considerate touches. Unfortunately, 4 loud people staying on the other side of the uninsulated wall felt like an invasion of privacy and made our stay uncomfortable. That and the very sensitive smoke detector (canât make toast with the lovely bread offered without setting it off) affects our rating. Youâll love it if you are in Little Cove with no one staying next door or if you are the group booking the larger space. Truly a shame because we loved Little Cove.
GPS took us to wrong location and no advance intro letter re door access code. Eventually resolved with much angst in an area with poor internet service .
Was perfect for what we needed. Everything anyone would need and the bread and jam was a lovely touch. Tamara kept us up to date with quick responses. Would highly recommend.
Little Cove was charming and very clean. The bathroom is large and feels brand new with a lovely deep tub, and 2 sinks Great view of the water. Our hosts left us a fresh loaf of homemade bread and jam plus a new jar of peanut butter as a welcoming gift! We enjoyed touring the lighthouse, walking some trails. We were a little late in the season as some places were closed or limited hours.
We found everything we needed for our stay. We wish it was closer to town but it worked out for us. The little cottage was very clean, bright and there was always a breeze which was nice with the hot weather that we had.
Self check-in went well and the fresh bread and jam was appreciated. Spacious new bathroom and good bedroom but kitchen space not very manageable- we did no cooking but made toast in the morning, Shelf with crockery too high if you are not very tall. Use of the toaster at lowest setting set the smoke alarm squealing so loudly that I had to get up on a chair to push red buttons. Following day, same problem so I took the alarm down. Bed had no top sheet and linen did not seem âfreshâ Following day , found an extra set of sheets and remade bed. We did inform the owner of the two frustrating events, and that we also broke a glassâŠ
We enjoyed everything about the little cove accommodations. Very clean, cozy, quaint, nice full size washroom and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful scenery, nice eateries and gift shops too
The unit was clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy a couple of days to visit the local attractions. It was as advertised with no surprises!!!The deck was a great place to enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the water.
Beautiful property looking over a bay in a tiny fishing village. Located just out of town and in a very quiet area. The home was very clean and equipped with everything that we required. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Twillingate.
Small cottage attached to a larger one. Well equipped for its size and limitations. Was very clean and served us well. Coffee and toast in the morning and then off and about for the rest of the day. Would have been nice to have a washer and dryer but room would not permit it. Only complain and i believe the new owners are aware of this is very poor sound proofing between the two units. At times during our stay there was 2 couples next door and could be heard very clearly.
