As advertised, only a few minutes walk to the beach - it was wonderful. The house was clean and comfortable. Did have a few issues that prevent me from rating this property higher. Only had one dinner plate and after contacting the office was promised more would be delivered but never were. We did get paper plates, but that is not the same. Could not get the oven to light so that limited cooking. Window over the shower would not close - rusted open.

Property was overall what we were looking for. There were minor things that were not in good condition when we arrived, such as the coffee table was broken and a handle was missing on the fridge. Again, the place was overall excellent and a great location.

My family stayed here from June 14-20. It was the perfect beach stay! The property management team were so easy to work with and made everything about our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The house was just a few minutes walk from the beach. Highly recommend this property for its location, service, and cleanliness!

Bare Bones but Good

We did enjoy our stay overall, in particular the location. We had a cleanliness issue regarding a smell. When we arrived there was a strong, rotten odor in the kitchen. The property manager responded promptly to our request for fans to air it out, and maintenance did come and spray a deodorizer. This was pretty effective, however we did have to wait for the chemical smell from the deodorizer to air out as well. I felt they could have accommodated us further with a discount, or, we asked to change to a different property and they immediately said no. In general, the property was as pictured but somewhat bare bones. For example, beach towels are not provided. Which seemed strange for a house on the beach. Similarly, there was salt and pepper, but no cooking oil. And while the beds were really nice, the bathroom was quite dated, and the couch hard hard springs you could feel. Finally, the walls to the next door unit were thin, we could hear people watching a movie next door. Each of these things weren't a huge deal, but did leave us feeling that the overall experience could have been improved to be more comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach and easy to get around. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to make Breakfast. Would recommend and would stay again.breakfast and lunch.

Tubes fun!

The property was clean and comfortable. A great location. I don't know if you commucates with a real person. But they seemed available. If I had 1 wish it would be for more counter in the bathroom. And maybe another mirror outside the bathroom. Teenagers always hog the mirror. ;-)

Apartment in older house

Department was clean and well appointed. The beds were wonderful as were all the little throw pillows. However, the noise from the apartments above and beside us was rather annoying. The house is not insulated. Location is great. Tybee Island has issues. Parking downtown for an hour for four dollars is absolutely ridiculous. Let.

Great location and unit

The unit was perfect for our family of four. We only had one minor maintenance issue and the owners were very responsive and took care of it right away. I particularly loved the screened in porch and the very short walk to the beach!

Great experience but needs some tlc

The location and home are great. Most comfortable bed I could ask for away from home. Would be better if they cleaned up the pine needles outside and fixed the fridge door and dishwasher. 3 rolls of tp, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 trash bags and one kitchen towel was a bit sparse for a full week.

Good location but few maintenance issues

The unit was very clean & in a great location for my group. Very short walk to the beach & quick bike ride to restaurants. The master bed frame broke as soon as we got there, called rental company & someone came out on the 2nd day to fix it. Did a temporary fix but we came back and the other side of the bed was out of place. So the master mattress was on the floor the whole trip. We tried to sleep on the pullout but that mattress was so incredibly uncomfortable that we settled for the broken master bed. Ice maker didn’t work, fire alarm constantly going off throughout the day.

Perfect for small family

Clean unit that is perfectly situated 2 blocks from ocean, plenty of walkable dining, and most importantly (to some in our group), a park one block away with playground, basketball, volley ball, and pickle ball courts!!

Not a single family vrbo

I am writing this review because I want to make clear to others thinking about renting this place that it is NOT a single family home. There are four units in this VRBO separated by very thin walls. Our neighbors this weekend had very noisy children who were screaming and crying most of the weekend. The walls were so thin it sounded as if they were in our room. I videoed it just because it was almost comical how loud it was. It certainly made our stay much less relaxing. The listing does not indicate at all it is a multi-apt place. For the price it was not a good value. I could have gotten a hotel room for much less and with less noise.
