Sheraton Universal

We had a good time at the Sheraton Universal. We were very close to the park and it was worth the stay. We were greeted with a kind staff that were happy to answer questions. The parking was very expensive, so we added that to the expense of the hotel price. The room was a bit small, the ice machines didn't work on the Terrace level, and our refrigerator had a broken leg, making it wobble each time you opened it. All in all, it was worth staying here.

Property is nice but their elevator by their main entrance needs an upgrade, slow and outdated. Their main lobby and bar is nice, we loved it and had lots of space to accommodate. Their main restaurant at the terrace level was ok but the food quality was not up to par compared to the prices we paid for a family of 4 for dinner. Loved the free shuttle from hotel to Universal Studio back and forth. Plenty of parking available for self parking with in and out privileges. Overall a very nice hotel and definitely we will stay there again for our next Universal trip

Very nice property and hotel! Super convenient being so close to Universal Studios! Restaurants are amazing food and all the staff was excellent. Very safe and family friendly! Downsides are that the hotel is literally on the freeway and it is loud all the time, especially at night and the parking charge per night is $50 for self parking in a garage, or $60 for valet. That was an unexpected surprise when checking in.

The property was average, the elevator was always a wait so opted to take the stairs when entering or leaving, the staff was just ok.. nothing special , the coffee shop gave very bad service , rude employees and not much too offer. The grounds were very well maintained and the shuttle offered was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, housekeeping was very nice, but the toilet ran constantly and gurgled as if it was going to back up.

Paid parking only, otherwise excellent hotel.

We were able to get right into our room even though check in was at 4pm and we arrived at 11am. We were planning on just parking and heading to Universal but it was nice to be able to get in and unpack before hand. A little shocked to have to pay $50 to park for 1 day when the room already cost over $200.

overall service and cleanliness was good

This was our second stay at the hotel and the overall service and cleanliness was good. The only drawback was that the shower gel was empty, but we didn't bother the staff because we brought our own. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family who are coming to Universal Studios.
