Great location, easy access to the Gondola and all the restaurants and stores in Lions Head Village. Nice property with a pool, hot tub, friendly staff, and the room was perfect.
The ski in-ski out is incomparable, the bed was super comfy, and having robes for the hot tub was nice. It would have been nice to have a real fork/knife/spoon and some bowls/plates instead of paper and plastic. The lodge said there was recycling and composting, but only 2 tiny trash cans in the room without instructions for that.
You literally walk out of the lodge and the gondola is right there!! Property has a warm and accommodating vibe. Ski storage process was super easy. Room is clean, neat, and efficientâŠsimilar to a hotel room. Heated pool and hot tubs provide a very relaxing end to a long ski day. Overall, great stay!
The gondola is mere steps from this property. They will also safely store your equipment each evening. Everything is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are also nice extras like the Friday Happy Hour, the coffee/tea bar and the welcome bottle of wine in our room. There is also daily maid service, and our room had every thing that we needed. Parking for one car is also included, and we enjoyed El Sabor, the onsite restaurant. Finally, the outdoor pool and hot tubs were fantastic after a day of skiing. I look forward to returning next season.
We just checked out and didnât want to leave. The room was perfect for us. It had everything we needed for our visit. The location was perfect and near everything in Loinshead and close enough to Vail Village. We will stay again.
The property manager was great. Arrived early and was able to park within the lodge compound before the room was ready. The distance to the closest lift and gondola was literally at the side of the building.
We enjoyed this property. Centrally located and close to lots of conveniences. My only complaint was that we had 2 cars and when I called ahead (as they recommend) they said they could probably accommodate us because they weren't full. When we got there, the front desk clerk didn't even pause - it was a no. However, the underground parking had plenty of open spaces. It's a minor complaint, but a little incongruent with what I was told on the phone. The same front desk clerk also told us they couldn't provide any silverware because of Covid when I was literally looking at a flyer in the room that said because of Covid they provided it specifically upon request. Again, minor complaint about a somewhat overly officious front desk clerk. Other front desk people were more helpful.
