Had a great time. The kitchen is well-stocked to cook anything you might want to make. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. In late August, the water was too green to swim in if that is something of interest. The cottage is perfect for 3 couples with the way it is laid out.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The check-in process is seamless. The cottage appears to have new finishes throughout. Both bathrooms are spacious, and the kitchen is roomy with many cabinets. The decor is very well done, and the entire cottage is well appointed. The whole family really enjoyed the hot tub. The communication was excellent, and the owners were very responsive to our needs.

Upon check-in we found the property to be spotless. It appears to be well maintained and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was great.The water around the dock is very shallow, which makes it a good spot to wade or swim....but not for fishing. We did not realize until we arrived that the entire lake is pretty shallow (about 20 feet maximum depth). It has a reputation as a great fishing lake, but you really need a boat to do any serious fishing.Lakeside Park in town is a beautiful spot with lots of amenities for both kids and adults, and does provide some areas that you can fish from shore. There are also some good restaurants very close by.Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience.

Nice place for 3 couples. We made Friday supper in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed some time in the hot tub. Explored the Oshkosh area Saturday with a nice supper at TJ's Harbor. Loved Sunken Paddle Cidery in Oshkosh!

The property overall was so much more than what you read and see on the listing. I’ve stayed at countless properties on VRBO and other platforms. Jason was the host we all want. Communicative, helpful, professional, and friendly. Private lake access just steps away. A perfectly placed hot-tub. The inside of the home makes a perfect getaway for couples or families. Beautiful, quiet and relaxing fall weekend

Property exactly as pictured. Stayed for a long anniversary weekend in October. Spent a lot of time in the hot tub enjoying the lake view. Lots of space, very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Close to lots of outdoor activities and we enjoyed hiking nearby. Will stay here again.

Rooms and Beds layout description

We had a great stay. The only curious thing was the listing and layout on VRBO stated 4 bedrooms, the 4th being with a double futon. There was not a 4th bedroom or double futon. we had someone in the group flexible and stayed on a pull out couch in the master, however it was misleading and confusing to plan on 4 bedrooms and only have 3.

Beautiful Time Away

Our recent stay at this beautiful lakeside home was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and the stunning views of the lake. The house itself is spacious, well-appointed, and perfectly designed to make the most of the natural surroundings. Large windows throughout offered gorgeous views, and the views from each floor overlooking the water quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy morning coffee or watch the sunrise. The home was impeccably clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding, and plenty of space for our my girlfriend and I to relax. The host had even provided thoughtful extras like board games and a guide to local activities. The quiet and peaceful location made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet we were still within a short drive of shopping and great food. Communication with the host was seamless, and they were quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. Overall, this lakeside retreat exceeded all of our expectations. We left feeling refreshed and reconnected. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway!
