We rented a room with a kitchenette. We were there for 4 days. The fridge was broken. Our family needed a working fridge. Staff seemed to always pass the buck with little importance to customer satsfaction.

We booked the Canadian Inn and when we arrived we told they had placed us in another property. Not what was booked! No coffee maker, TV did not work well fuzzy and only a few channels. I had stayed at the Canadian inn before and was disappointed they put me in a lower grade place, because I booked with Expedia!

Terrible Hotel

Terrible hotel experience. Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We encountered numerous issues that made our experience very uncomfortable. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were thin and old and extensively used, the carpet were old and smelly, we ask for tissue box the attendant told us one napkin per day. Furthermore, the coffee maker was outdated, and the air conditioning was not functioning correctly. The overall impression of the hotel is not recomended for families. We had booked for four days, but due to the poor conditions, we attempted to check out early and requested a refund. However, the manager refused to refund our money. Please don't come here otherwise you will ruin your vacation.

We arrived at check in. We were told we were going to sister hotel next door. I did not book sister hotel even though it was cheaper due to safety reasons i heard about Surrey B.C. we were told that a shuffle took place as there was a music festival in town even though we booked back mid June. Paid the rate of the better hotel even though got put in the room/hotel that was less expensive at time of booking. Currently the sign on both hotels show "vacancy". Why were we not given the room we booked and paid in advance and paid in full for?
