We had a lovely stay at the Fairmont - it was a great location to explore and made for a very comfy stay. We enjoyed the extra facilities such as the gym and sauna, although the gym air con needed to be cooler!! There were also a few small details we thought could have been better considering the brand and they would be easy fixes. When we arrived one of the rooms had handprints all of the mirror from the previous guests which had been missed in cleaning. The free water carafe in the room was replaced sometimes but not others, and this was necessary considering the cold tap didn’t get that cold and you couldn’t fit water bottles under the tap. And the coffee facilities in the room weren’t fully restocked every day either. Having said this, obviously having these details in the first place was great, and all staff were extremely efficient and helpful when we did mention any of these things and were on hand to sort it out rapidly. A mention for the very kind staff member who handed our daughter a bottle of water as she came in from a run one morning! Overall, a great stay and probably an accurate 4 star experience.

Loved everything but very expensive. The staff is wonderful. The restaurant was perfect but expensive. The valet parking does not need to be $85! That is very steepe and not necessary to be that expensive, especially since price of rooms are more than enough to pay for the parking. And if you book a Gold room it should be free! Garage parking offered as an is a problem as kiosk doesn’t work properly and prices are more than it seem as advertised. Read the fine print. The lower price is noted. Don’t even take you through a normal 24 hour day.

The hotel could benefit with a bit of maintenance. Rooms are really old, mattresses are extremely uncomfortable and worn out. Bathroom is also very outdated. For the price you pay per night this is not the kind of room you expect to have. Would not come back or recommend. Only good thing: Staff were very kind and helpful.
