This place took me back in time, it was beautiful, elegant & the staff (owners) were so pleasant. I loved the area & my room was a home away from home.
If I could rate this accommodation out of 100 it would get 100. Angela ( she is an Angel) and Wally could not be more helpful and flexible. Very kind and caring people. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The hotel exceeded my expectations in all areas.
My stay there was beyond comfortable. The facilities take you back in time, beautifully decorated. Check in was a breeze. Squeaky clean. Comfy bed. Location was perfect. Continental breakfast delicious. Travelling alone it was important for me to feel safe, and I had no worries whatsoever. Outstanding hotel. Now I know where I can stay when I go to Langley. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay. Wouldn't consider anywhere else. Thank you so very much Angela and Wally. I will not forget your kindness.
Beautiful character house with antique furniture but with all the modern comforts. Tasty continental breakfast.
Light sleepers may find the traffic noise from morning rush hour disturbing
Friendly and lovely Jessie, a thoughtfully decorated house, clean and comfortable. I love everything about this place! If I have the chance to visit Vancouver again, I would definitely stay here.
This was the perfect hotel for our mother-daughter weekend! Comfortable, clean, had all the amenities including a fan, refrigerator and microwave. The bed was so comfortable, the decor was charming, and the breakfast tray was beautiful and delicious. We stayed during Eras tour weekend in Vancouver. We drove 30 min to the King George Skytrain station and rode the train to the Stadium-Chinatown stop to get to BC place. It took about an hour to get to Vancouver that way. Our stay at Princess and the Pea (Tinkerbell Room) enhanced the amazing weekend we had together! Highly recommended!!
This is my second stay at the Princess & The Pea Hotel and I just love it! It is an absolute gem of a place with charming rooms, comfortable beds, and special little details (complementary chocolates and maple syrup-so thoughtful). Angela is very communicative and the self check-in/check-out is seamless. Highly recommend!
A beautiful historic home - lovingly refinished. It was easy to locate off the TCH and Fraser Highway. Personal touches - little gift of chocolate, and a bottle of maple syrup for each room. A variety of teas were provided in each room. A really comfortable bed and a great working shower. Angela met us at the front door and gave us a brief history of the home and her family involvement and escorted us to our room. Such a warm welcoming touch! Thank you.
Very nice boutique hotel. The owners are delightful. We mostly worked with Angela and she couldn’t have been more helpful! We would definitely stay here again.
What a find!
Princess and the Pea is a delight. My wife and I don’t always plan in advance; sometimes our procrastination leads us to amazing places that we might never have known to seek. Princess and the Pea is one such place. Looking for last-minute accommodations away from the congestion of Vancouver, we lucked into one night at Princess and the Pea. We stayed in the Sleeping Beauty room, which was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. It was a perfect retreat after a long day of travel, followed by miles of hiking and sightseeing at Stanley Park and Grandview Island.
Our morning was relaxing with the delicious breakfast delivered to our door. We would have extended our stay if the room had been available for another night or two. Before we left, we were treated to a few moments with the charming innkeeper who told us about the history of the establishment. This made us appreciate it even more.
I hope we return to this area again so we can plan in advance to stay at Princess and the Pea.
