Casa As Seis Chemineas is a large traditional Galician farmhouse. As such, it features its own hórreo (a traditional agricultural storage structure), a fountain dating back to 1862, and is surrounded by vineyards planted with the Albariño grape variety—the most common in the Ulla River Valley, where this vacation home is located. Located just 11 km from the center of Santiago de Compostela—whose name derives from the Latin “campus stellae” (field of the star), referring to the star that guided the hermit Pelayo to the site where the Apostle James was buried—it offers all the benefits of its proximity to the capital of Galicia while allowing guests to enjoy the peace and tranquility of its rural surroundings.

In this regard, in addition to being an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful vacation home surrounded by nature—with native forests, natural waterfalls, and various hiking trails, as well as other activities such as visiting some of the magnificent heritage sites in the municipality of Vedra— it can also serve as a base camp both for delving deeply into the culture, cuisine, and entertainment offered by the city of Santiago de Compostela, and for discovering and exploring the entire region of Galicia (its coastline, beaches, rivers, mountains, and incredible artistic and architectural heritage), thanks to the city’s excellent transportation links.

The vacation home features four double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and one family room. All rooms are equipped with a television and Wi-Fi. There are also several common areas, including a reading room, a small sitting room with a fireplace, a living room with a large traditional fireplace, a dining room, a patio surrounded by hydrangeas, several gazebos located throughout the garden, and a shared swimming pool.
