Great location just set back from all the traffic. Very accessible water taxi and train location. Watching people drag luggage around and on boats looked miserable. Stay here instead.

Very close to Santa Lucia Venice train station 3 min walking, shopping restaurant water taxi nearby, hotel clean, staff friendly especially Raeffel he was able to accommodate our upgrade room thanks so much, buffet breakfast is decent, good enough for breakfast. Recommend to stay here at Hotel Abbazia . I will come back next trip , we like Venice!

This former Abby is charming and historic with modern amenities. The included breakfast was delicious and fancy. No complaints and would highly recommend because of it proximity to the train station and water buses!

Loved this hitel, friendly staff, walkinging to stm lucia train station, lots of restaurants around, hotel building is old but kept it in very good condition, noce back yelard to relax and enjoy your breakfast or a drink, bathroom is fully remodeled and very clean, room was decent size and beds were very comfortable, breakfast was the best. I would stay in here again. Highly recommend it

The staff was terrific. It is an old monastery from the 19th century that was made into a hotel property so some things about the room you have to accept. It was very European as a hotel, with modern amenities and good internet, quite courtyard. The breakfast 7-10 am was excellent. Location was great, very near restaurants, the water buses/water taxis and on the Grand Canal. I would definitely stay there again!

This historical hotel is located in a central location near the train and boat stations. Yet it’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is amazing and helpful. They were so kind to my child. The breakfast is amazing! The only recommendation I have is adding a shower curtain since it was awkward using the tub shower.

Overall, this stay was decent. Pros: the location next to the train station was convenient both for an early morning arrival and departure, the staff at the desk were super friendly, the breakfast was good, and the common areas are charming Con: our room was dated and sparse (bare white walls) a little shabby (old tattered linens) and didn't look nearly as nice as the pictures shown on the website, so that was a little disappointing
