Terrific location, staff were quite nice, buffet was a treat. Asked for 2 beds, was given 2 beds that were touching which was difficult. Bathroom very small and not great condition. However, the location is just amazing. Literally 10 seconds to the piazza.

Great location ! But perhaps the worst shower I have ever seen in any hotel in my life. It was hardly 20 x20 inch and clearance of 17 inch. Could not move even two inches either way

We had a canal view room and it was huge with a beautiful view of all the gondolas parked outside. The little terraces outside in the dining area are beautiful to sit at as well as the velvet booths where we enjoyed a great breakfast. Definitely a second toaster is needed in the breakfast room and the shower over bath with a shower curtain was a turn off. When paying almost 400 euros a night I expect a decent shower space. There was also no room to move in the shower and the shower head was weirdly placed which made it even tighter. That needs to be updated asap. Great location not sure if I would stay again as it’s very pricey so probably expected more. Our room was right next door to a cleaners closet and they were noisy talking amongst themselves outside our door. Didn’t appreciate it at all.

Clean room with plenty of space and a large bathroom. Had a great view overlooking a canal that was a staging point for gondolas. Just a few steps from st marks square and a short walking distance from the water taxi stops.

Loved our stay a Hotel Cavalletto. Great shopping and restaurants. Less than a minute walk to San Marco’s square. Gondola rides right within steps of the hotel. Perfect place to stay in Venice.

The check in was terrible .They gave us the wrong key for our room.We were not in the main hotel but placed in an annexe.I still think we were placed in the wrong room .We did complain but told no other room was available.

Excellent location, just off St Marks Square, with gondolas stationed right outside. Comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We would definitely go back to this hotel and would recommend it to others who want a good value, no frills venue.

The location was amazing and the hotel was updated and well appointed. All the staff were super lovely and helpful. The only downsides; the canal rooms are very noisy in the morning as the gondolas are being prepared for the day ahead and the shower situation needs updating. The sheer head comes out from the side wall leaving little space to manger (all sowers over baths should be removed). Despite the two flaws, our stay was great and I would highly recommend the hotel - we will be back!

Amazing Venice hotel, elegantly fitted into an historic building, with is own private dock for a water taxi! Gorgeous, prime location just off San Marcos Square.
