This apartment would have received a 5 star review as it was in the perfect location and the perfect space for our family of 5 with a beautiful terrace overlooking convenient restaurants with very close places to purchase breakfast and coffee in the morning as well as a market where we bought supplies. I will also mention that the apartment was far enough away from the crowds of San Marco, but so very close to get there quickly to enjoy. We loved the view from the spacious, private terrace. It was also very close to the taxis and vaperettos. Key delivery by Maria was easy too, and she was friendly and gave us a quick tour of the apartment. (There was one broken shutter that Maria found when she went to show us how to open the window and made note that she would let the manager know.) The manager of the apartment quickly responded to my messages when I had questions prior to arrival and provided reimbursement for the issue we had with the air conditioner. I really wanted to take off 2 stars for the fact that the AC was not working when we arrived, but everything else about the apartment was wonderful. Opening the windows provided some fresh air but with the stifling heat during that weekend, it was not enough to cool the air for us. Thank goodness we spent much of our time outside of the apartment. Also, this apartment was on the 2nd floor. Keep in mind that you'll have to haul your bags up +/-20 steps or so.
