The hotel is in an excellent location for airport water bus and the water bus to train station. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms are a good size with nice décor. Location is great for San Marco and exploring. Breakfast is very good and the bar has a lovely atmosphere. Can highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic location 100m from the Alilaguna stop making travelling from the airport very easy, also only 10-15 min walk from a lot of tourist spots (saint marks, Peggy Guggenheim and Galleria galleries) and very walkable to other areas too. Room I got was a little odd - at the top near the roof terrace (lovely spot at the end of the day for a drink), large room but had some low beams particularly in the bathroom so would not suit someone tall. Staff were lovely and helpful though and would probably stay here again.

I thought I booked a recently renovated hotel (that’s what the site said and what all the pictures showed) and when we arrived at our room it was clearly not part of the renovation. Very disappointing. It was all beige and looked like it was last updated in the 80’s. Don’t fall for the pics, or be sure to ask for the updated rooms.

We had 2 reservations, 1 for 10/4-10/6/25 and second one for 10/6-10/8/25. We booked alone but booked the same type of the room with our group because we are Hotel.com member. Ended up we got the worst room among whole group, the room was likely a closet, hard to move around, we didn’t even want housekeeper to clean our room because luggage was in the way. It was worst experience we ever experienced with the money we paid.

Man, this is hard as I want to give the 5-stars… but one issue caused a deduction. Let’s talk about the good- location is great, walkable to sites. Easy to find from the train station, bus 1 to Giglio stop, couple blocks. On-site breakfast was a great bonus, I’d highly recommend. Staff were amazing. We had the “Antonia” room, a top floor suite with a living room and private terrace. Bed was comfy, Heat/Air worked perfect. The downfall- we were there for two nights. The morning of our second day - the toilet stopped flushing. They noted it couldn’t be fixed until Monday. (This was Saturday) They essentially didn’t have much for options for us, repack and change rooms to a basic room (not what we reserved) or stick it out. This was significantly disappointing. They offered a free private taxi to Morano Island - we met another couple on the ride over and enjoyed a lovely afternoon with them. Be aware, the private taxi dropped you off at a glass blowing company for a tour, maybe sales pitch. It was a great tour, we learned a lot. However, we wanted to explore the island so we left and ended up taking the water bus back.

Hotel was beautiful!!! Tip, if they offer you a complimentary tour to Murano, don’t take it! It’s a cash grab to tour you through the most expensive glass gallery on murano and eats like 3 hours of your day. Other than that, absolutely loved the place!!!!
