Valet and Check-in staff were super friendly and great. Our room was ready early, which is always appreciated. It was clean and comfortable. Although the room was “ocean view”, it was fine, but located at the very opposite end of the building (away from the beach). Our room was adjacent to the street, across from the freeway and train tracks (which was loud). The A/C didn’t work, but maintenance was quick to respond and replaced the whole unit while we were out. And, the lobby bar was great. Overall, I’d stay again.

Our room/floor above us had some construction going on. Upsetting it was not mentioned at check in. Spoke with manager and was told there is never a good time for upgrades ?? He said he would relay my message to his team. Definitely will not be going back there again.

We were there for one night on a Saturday. Because it was Sat. it was expensive. The hotel was relatively new and therefore the room was modern. It was small and the bathroom was small. The bedding was nice. Our coffee maker did not work and they gave me a $12 credit. The cabinetry was worn and door did not close. For the price they should have supplied robes to use. A friend that stayed in another room blew out the electric circuit twice with the hair dryer. The cost of the room was over $400 and I did not feel it was good value. We did have a view to the side of the beach and the parking lot.

OK, this hotel is a great location. HOWEVER...I paid for an "oceanview room". I did not get that..I looked over the 4 story parking structure and a piece of the ocean. Considering I don't feel the hotel was full due to past end of Summer, this was ridiculous. The curtain was torn, the door took a man to open it due to it sticking. Very very disappointed.

I attended a conference for work and the staff at your Crowne Plaza in Ventura were wonderful. It was my first time staying here. Also, the fitness center was spacious enough to work out in too! I was not sure if my room had a view of the ocean and it did! Ivan who is the manager at the restaurant down stairs made me a delicious cocktail with my dinner on Sunday night! He was very pleasant and so was your entire restaurant staff. However, the Santa Cruz room we had for the conference was not accessible for wheelchair users or people who use walkers, etc. Overall, I would definitely come back!
