The hotel is very close to the beach and the room itself was nice. The free breakfast was nice and the grounds beautiful. Just stayed one night to visit the nearby national park.

I have always loved the location and the grounds but the ongoing rennovations do impact the ambiance negatively. As for cleanliness, I found some ants in the room, otherwise it was fairly clean. The room was nice and comfortable but the TV reception was very annoying, very poor! If the negative conditions improve, I would love to come back.

We knowingly stayed in a part of the property that is older, but has a view of the ocean and the freeway. The room was clean and very functional, without the annoyance of an HVAC that turns itself off during the night. The worst item was the mediocre breakfast.

I was excited to stay here since it was so close to the beach, but ended up being disappointed. There were ants all over the bathroom floor, spiders everywhere (one ended up falling on me when I was in bed), and the clothes iron was broken. I tried calling the front desk several times about the issues, but nobody would ever answer. I let them know my issues through a message and after checkout, but I haven’t heard back from anyone. I would not stay here again unless I absolutely had to. You also have to pay $10 per day for parking.

This place was horrible. Room smelled so bad. T.V. didn’t work. Patio screen door had holes in it. Breakfast was a joke. They charged my card before I authorized it. I would not recommend to stay here.

The Pierpont inn is an older property, but, it was quiet and clean. The staff was helpful overall. The pool was clean and my kids had a blast! Check in and out was easy, we plan on returning and staying again in the future.
