This house was in such a fun location. Very clean and had everything we needed. Loved eating up in the covered picnic table in the rocks and the kids loved climbing and exploring.
The Rock Haus was a fun place for our family to stay while in Vernal for a family reunion. Plenty of space, good location. Owner was very responsive to a tripped breaker for the range.
We really enjoyed the land surrounding the house. My oldest daughter spent time in the pergola everyday bird watching. The inside of the house was a great mix of the original style and modern. The party basement is awesome. We also loved the central location near all the adventures we went on.
The Rock Haus was a great spot for our Dinosaur National Monument adventures. Nick was so helpful in local recâs for food and other places to check out. My kids loved the themes throughout the house and the rocks out back!
Super cool house/location! It was beautiful to look out the windows at the rock formations. Everything was so comfortable from the beds to couch. I would highly recommend this house!
Beautiful home and grounds. The grandchildren loved chasing grasshoppers, frogs and lizards while the adults relaxed on the couch and watched the fun. We also saw quail and a deer. Nick was a great host and his brother Casey and nephew Zane were very nice. We would love to stay there again.
We loved our stay at the Rock Haus! Plenty if room for 7 of us to sleep and hang out. (Kids, teens and adults) And also each have our own space when needed. We were in a neighborhood, but how the house sits next to the awesome rock mountains, and on its own little street, it felt like we were in our own little world with a herd of deer that bed down in the front yard. This was a great central location to see the Dinosaur National Monument, Moonshine Ach, and Fantasy Canyon.Everything was clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and eat with, including some spices. The host is very attentive and quickly answered any questions I had.Check in and check out were super smooth. Our only complaint, is that the water in the showers were a little finicky to find the right temp. But I wouldnt let that stop me from staying again.
We went to vernal 4 Christmas with the family and uh, we all enjoyed this home immensely. Every morning to have deer in the front yard was breathtaking.
Everything about this house was great. Really great location with beautiful rock right up to the back of the house. Everything clean with good supplies in the house. We would definitely stay here again.
Couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience at the Rock Haus. Nick was easy to reach and quite responsive to any questions we had (including suggestions on where to eat!). The property was unique, beautiful, clean, safe, and comfortable. We would happily stay there again.
Our family LOVED our stay in the RockHaus in Vernal, UT!
We (grandparents) brought our daughters/sons-in-law and 4 grandsons out West to tour our amazing National Parks - from VA, we visited family in SLC then traveled up to Bear Lake ID, Jackson/Yellowstone and left Dinosaur National Monument for the pinnacle of fun! Our family fit well in the 3 bedroom, the bunk room was a hit! Our RV and 15 passenger van had no problem parking in the open/expansive driveway areas - and the gazebo overlooking the valley and trail up to rockside with petroglyphs was a memory we will not soon forget! The hosts were so helpful with suggestions for the family (we wish we could have stayed here the whole week!) I do not think we realized that the lower level was still in renovation, and the spiral staircase to that level required our creativity to move a cocktail table and block off our almost 2yr old grandson. The eat-in kitchen fit all of us for dining and card games. My husband appreciated the big TV for catching an Orioles game at the end of a busy day! - We would HIGHLY recommend this home for those considering a Vernal visit - and suggest staying at least for an extended weekend or weeklong visit to be sure to enjoy it even more thoroughly! Thank you RockHaus for the memories!
