The apartment is very well situated and has all the comfort and advantages for a family holiday at the sea. Its private garage is precious while public parkings in the center are all paying and very difficult to find , especially during the summer. Viareggio is a little sea resort who, thanks to its huge beaches and its “Promenade “ in Liberty Style, the shops and numerous excellent restaurants, attracts a cosmopolite or just Tuscan public all year long. This center is the perfect starting point for cultural or touristic day trips. In less than one hour you can easily reach the cities of Firenze, Lucca or Pisa, the marble quarries of Carrara, or the “ Cinque Terre”. For the young (and less young) people there are a lot of pubs, discotheques, live-concerts etc..where they can go also walking or by bicycle. The other attractive of Viareggio are the Carnival ( also summer shows) and the Puccini Festival.

Visit to Viareggio

A lovely clean apartment close to everything. A bakery and bar/cafe were located just below us which was great! Anne was great to communicate with. Overall a wonderful stay!

Exactly as described!

The location is perfect. The bakery downstairs is excellent. The Conad Grocery around the corner is very convenient! Anne is a great host. The flat is clean and has everything you need. Beds usually comfortable! Wi-Fi is relatively slow DSL, but you can stream Netflix on an iPad just fine. We enjoyed or stay in Cinque Terra/Tuscany using this apartment has a home base.

Beautiful accommodation in Viareggio

This apartment is absolutely perfect! The location is wonderful and the apartment is very spacious and well appointed. The check in and check out were seamless, the owner was wonderful to work with. The a/c works great, the patios are lovely to enjoy some people watching in the morning or evening, and the beds are comfortable. You do not need a car in this location. You can walk to absolutely everything- grocery, restaurants, beaches, etc. Do yourself a favor and visit the bakery down below the apartment. Her focaccia will be something I dream about for weeks to come!

Very clean and convenient sight for the train station, beach and restaurants!

Anne was pleasant and very helpful. The apt was clean and roomy. Bakery & bar on the corner. Grocery around the corner. Train station 6 blocks, 2 blocks from the beach and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

Amazing location in Viareggio!!

Our family of four stayed here for 5 nights and it was perfect for us! We could walk to anywhere we wanted to in Viareggio as it was just steps from the waterfront. It also has a garage as we had a car for taking day trips to around the area and did not have to worry at all about parking. Working with the manager could not have been better also!

Family Stay in Viareggio

Our original apartment fell through so we booked this apartment instead. It was a bit over my budget but SO worth it. As soon as we entered the apartment, we felt right at home. It is clean and stocked with everything one would need. There is air conditioning in the main living room and each of the three bedrooms. We found we didn't need it in the living room because there are big doors opening to a balcony that allows fresh air. We loved sitting on the balcony off the living room and the main bedroom. There is another balcony off the kitchen that we used to dry our clothes on the drying rack. There is so much space for a family of 5. We stay mostly in rentals when traveling and this apartment is one of my favorites, you can tell that Anne takes pride in the apartment. Don't hesitate to book!

Fantastic apartment!

Great, central location! Couldn't have picked a better appointment for our stay. Supermarket right around the corner, coffee/bar right downstairs, close to beach and many restaurants. We had 3 adults and 1 eight year old. Plenty of space for all of us.

Anne was a wonderful host, turning up later than arranged as our flight was delayed. The apartment was brilliant in a wonderful location and the carpark space is a real bonus. air-conditioning in both our bedrooms and the main sitting room made for a comfortable space. Right beside a supermarket, small bar and restaurants.

Excellent location for the beach

I had a difficult time writing this review because I felt that our experience here my be just a one-off; but this is what I'd tell a friend. It is our personal experience, notwithstanding very positive reviews. My wife and I stayed five nights. Overall, an okay experience. Anne and her son were responsive. Parking was convenient, safe, and made for an easy in and out of the town to visit surrounding villages. But the apartment felt like beach house that was just opened after a long winter. There was only one adapter for appliances that need a ground, like refrigerator, iron, washing, machine, hair dryer, etc. (But Anne's son promptly brought a few extra.) One bathroom had a fair amount of mold on the window pane and sill, and my wife felt the apartment hadn't been properly cleaned. Also, my wife disliked using the tub because it was slippery and the shower because of the mold. The internet reception was mediocre requiring that I connect my laptop directly to the router with a cable. All in all, if you need the room and the beach and nightlife are the main attractions for you, this is probably a very good place to stay.

Excellent Property

Anne was extremely easy to communicate with. She asked any questions promptly. The property was very clean, spacious and located within easy walk to the beach, local bars and restaurants. The underground parking was excellent. We would definitely stay here again as a family group, as it more than met our requirements.

Fantastic location

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. It is ideally located with a bakery and ATM/cash point just outside and a small supermarket, 24 hour pharmacy, restaurant and pizzeria around the corner. It is a less than 10 min walk to the main promenade, the main piazza or the lovely Pineta di Ponente. Anne is an excellent hostess and we plan to return again next year. Thanks for another lovely stay !

Wonderful apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in Anne’s lovely apartment. It was spacious and stylish and had everything we needed. Anne was very helpful and responded quickly when we had any questions. The location couldn’t have been better - a bakery on the doorstep, supermarket round the corner and the beaches and town a 5/10 minute walk.

Great place

We only stayed for a few days, but enjoyed our visit. I recommend renting bikes as that is really the only means of transportation . Her place has plenty of space and all of the essentials you need. It was nice to spread out and cook meals for a few days. The grocery store on the corner was excellent.

Five of us (my father, wife, and two children) spent two weeks at Anne's three bed flat and really enjoyed the central location: grocery, bakery, bar, and bancomat right on our doorstep. It was lively and occasionally loud in the evening, but it made us feel like we were in the thick of it. The apartment is in good shape and our only gripe would be that the internet wasn't as fast as we would like. But its vacation in Italy and we probably shouldn't be spending too much time online anyway. And the parking space can't be overrated! We definitely would recommend staying here if you like a city feel close to the beach.

Perfect apartment, perfect location, perfect stay.

The apartment is on the first floor served by an elevator and with private parking underneath. Airy and spacious with three bedrooms, it was perfect for us and our two little boys. It was the middle of August and hot but the air-conditioning coped perfectly... it was a treat to take the boys downstairs to the baker shop for fresh bread each morning. The post office is just next door, as well as a little neighbourhood bar and a small supermarket is just around the corner. We arrived by train and it was just a ten minute walk to the station, which is well connected to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and La Specia amongst others so made a great base for exploring. The beach was just a couple of minutes walk and we were close to many nice local restaurants and bars, a perfect location. The park nearby was a perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening with the children, playing on the rides, or hiring bicycles to ride around the park. Plenty to see and do for our young family. The apartment was well equipped, and Anne was the perfect host, meeting us upon arrival and departure, and offering tips and advice whenever required. Nothing was too much trouble, we had a lovely week.

Great stay in Viarregio!

My friends and I (group of 5 persons) stayed for 10 days at Annes place. We arrived in a VW bus and the parking lot was big enough. Anne was super supportive in helping us check if our VW Bus could fit in the parking lot and many other questions. Communication with Anne was always fast and friendly. The apartment was very tidy and spacious. There was enough room for everybody. The 2 bathrooms, 3 balconys and air condition in every bed and living room were great. The appartment looks better in real life as in the photos. Supermarket, bakery, beach, restaurants.. everything was right around the corner or max. 10 min walk away. Highly recommend this appartment and would rent it again, if we are back in Viareggio. Thanks a lot Anne!
