Great location, some very good restaurants within easy walking distance. Park nearby is great and the ocean across the road is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious every day.

A bit disappointed with our stay. Room was very small and bathroom especially small. A low angled ceiling made it difficult to stand up in the bathroom - there was no counter space near the sink - we bumped our heads a few times just trying to access our toiletries. Bed was fairly comfortable 😊 Breakfast was not great - cold pancakes, lukewarm hashbrowns. We’ve stayed in many Victoria b&bs and for the price we paid we expected a lot more

The room was not the one shown in the booking . It was supposed to have a jetted tub , fireplace and separate sitting area , false advertising , it had none of those things ( received 25$ for this mistake ) . The bed was comfortable ., The room was clean except for carpet stains . The room had a musty smell that made it difficult to sleep, opening all windows was necessary for the night. The staff was very pleasant at breakfast. The breakfast was good and nicely presented in a pretty room with a nice view and nicely set tables . Honestly a good declutter in common areas and fresh carpets would improve this place greatly. A good garden tidy as well. It's a beautiful location and free parking is a perk along with complimentary coffee,tea and muffins. I probably would not choose to stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful building and rooms. Contact-less check-in made it so easy to settle in after the trip to get there. Right on the water. We had a private balcony that looked over the water which was super romantic. My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary and indulged in the romance package which was very sweet and well-thought out. Its nearby to drive anywhere but transit is nice and close as well. Its across the street from a beautiful little park on one side and the ocean on the other. The included breakfast was great quality. The meals are cooked per table and although a set menu (changes each day) they accomodate changes. One day was pankcakes with a parfait starter and fresh juice, coffee, and tea. We will absolutely be coming back for our next special occassion.

Dash to the Dashwood!

Visiting friends in town who live just down the street from Dashwood, so the location was great for us. Spacious & comfy room. Friendly staff, very helpful, good breakfast each of our two mornings. Great walking path along the water, and wonderful city park across the street. Half hour walk through the park and you’re downtown. Only negative was the lack of a common space (room) where you could hang out and meet other guests.

I accidentally booked the hotel for the wrong date. When I arrived around 10 p.m., the front door was closed, so I had to call the hotel. The manager answered and was extremely professional and helpful when I explained my situation. He went above and beyond, assuring me he would take care of everything and kindly allowed me to stay despite my booking mistake. He even explained where I could find extra blankets and pillows if needed. The staff were amazing, very friendly and always eager to help.

I had a wonderful stay at Dashwood Manor Bed & Breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the location is excellent—directly across from beautiful Beacon Hill Park. The facility was extremely clean, and the large Jacuzzi bathtub was perfect after a long day of walking. Breakfast was delicious and very well prepared, with excellent service throughout my stay. Onsite parking was also a great convenience. Overall, everything you’d hope for in a Bed & Breakfast—warm, comfortable, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Nice view

Breakfast was typical. Eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat. I wish they're were other options. I.e. avacado, cottage cheese, oatmeal etc. Cleanliness was good but it would appear great if the rooms were modernized. The view made this place awesome! They could charge more if the modernized the rooms and food options.
