This is a lovely property close to the inner harbor. A great breakfast is included in the price. The property is very quiet. We usually rent a suite that has a large livingroom with a view of the side of the parliament. It is a short walk to downtown shopping.

It’s Okay

This is very much a dated motel that has kept itself up. Things are little rickety but work. You get what you need but value to the cost is on the expensive side especially when they are charging twenty dollars a night for parking - that is a total money grab for a place like this. There is room service but they don’t really clean your room that well - pull covers on bed and fresh towels kind of thing. I think it’s the service staff that smokes on the second floor in the evening. At least there is a balcony to help get the smell out. The best thing is just the proximity to walk downtown.

This was my second time staying at the Embassy. The staff was kind and helpful, breakfast was excellent and the property was clean and quiet. I will always come back to the Embassy when I stay in Victoria, you cant beat the location and price.

Great stay except for harder beds than I am used to. Convenient to the harbour and walking the area. We appreciated the breakfast included in the stay. Parking was extra.

Hotel is old, AC didn’t work at first start & at restart- had to call maintenance, AC also very loud & difficult to control temperature as it’s a very old model, not all staff are capable & friendly

This is an older property, but the rooms have been updated. They are very clean and functional. I appreciated having a balcony, and the free breakfast in the morning was delicious. There's also underground parking available for $20 a night.

Staff at the reception counter was excellent.She even came to our room to fix the air conditioner as it wasn’t working. She’s very helpful & welcoming. The hotel is quite old & lacking some of the essentials such as full length mirror, lack of hooks in the shower area to hang towel, counter area in the bathroom is not enough for ladies’s toiletries. Another negative is the coffee maker is placed on a small side table- quite low even for a 5ft, 2in tall person
