Must stay here!

This hotel was very updated and clean. The rooms were well appointed and the complimentary cookies and drinks were a welcoming touch. Central heating and air were amazing and the heated bathroom floors were very luxurious. While the location is further away from the wharf than others, this was a VERY good deal for the quality. The Palms restaurant downstairs was spendy but SO worth it. Very high quality service and the menu was amazing. They have two bars downstairs and the restaurant. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel!

We had a room on the second floor facing Douglas Street and it was incredibly noisy. The windows didn’t seem to have much sound buffering from the traffic. The floor in our room was very creaky, making it hard to not disturb your partner if you need to get up during the night. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.

Room and staff were excellent, one thing I wish was that they had free continental breakfast instead of just coffee and fruit at the lobby. The property is beside City Hall and is walking distance to Chinatown. A little bit further is the Empress and the waterfront.
