I loved the location and facilities. It was conveniently located and had great access to a beautiful part of Victoria. My room was clean and spacious. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. But, when I tried to use wifi to attend a business meeting Huntingdon let me down. Their wifi was inadequate. When I asked desk staff for help they offered no solutions. I was ejected from my meeting. When I told the staff about this bad experience they provided unhelpful advice. They didn’t offer any compensation, when their poor service cost me. It was a very disappointing experience and poor customer service. Video conference quality wifi is a standard of service that is basic.

The place was very nice and comfortable. Staff and services were great. Breakfast buffet is incredible! Only issue I had was with safety. We had the suite with bed upstairs and bathroom downstairs. They really need to put some small motion sensor lights on the stairs. Going down in middle of the night to use the bathroom is scary. If you turn on the lights, you will wake your partner. Hotel needs to address this before someone falls and get hurt! Other than that, the place was very nice and close to the harbor and all good stuff. Loved it!

The hotel is dated but the location was good. Close to the ferry terminal which is what I wanted, and walkable to downtown. Rooms were fine but not much room for luggage space. Breakfast is nothing special.

Nice place, good location

Quint, old hotel with great location in downtown. Needed refreshing a bit, but room was big and fairly well lit. Biggest problem was first floor was up 5 steps and breakfast room was down 5 additional steps. These steps were step and there was no ramp. Breakfast was standard hotel gare, eggs, meat, potatoes, assorted breads and muffins, fruit, juice, and waffles. Breakfast room was wonderful, a converted sun conservatory. Staff attentive. Nice place to stay

Ideal location for our visit to Victoria.

A historic property that I believe is being revitalized. Room was extremely clean even though the finishes were dated. Wonderful bed, excellent linens, lovely breakfast, fantastic staff! Lee at the reception desk was exceptional.

This hotel is far overdue for a complete remodel. Rooms and bathrooms including furniture are outdated and not in a charming way. Bed and linens were very comfortable and slept well. Maintenance was quick responsive for repair needs.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. The location is excellent. As we were there for a week the breakfast options felt limited possibly to avoid nut allergies. Perhaps add bran/oatmeal /flaxmeal muffins. Pumpkin seeds as a yogurt topping. Hard boiled eggs.
