The first room we were put in smelled awful. It smelled damp and moldy. So we switched to a second room which was better but the entire hotel seemed to be dirty and just did not smell clean. Breakfast was extremely subpar too.

Everyone was super nice, welcoming and helpful. Jenna went overboard to help me retrieve some items I forgot in my room and had the most pleasant attitude and disposition without even hesitating to stop what she was doing to help me out. Cleaning staff was extremely cordial, warm, friendly and inviting. Everyone greeted us with a since smile and hello. When I say EVERYTHING was clean in this hotel, it was CLEAN! The vibrant colors in the lobby just created such an atmosphere of joy and happiness. My husband and I slept so peacefully through the night. I told the man that was at the desk ( I didn’t get his name) when I checked out, I enjoyed being there so much that I wished I didn’t have to leave, I wish I could pay for another night and stay again. It was the BEST hotel experience my husband and I have had this entire year! Kudos to Spark by Hilton in Victoria, Texas! You guys are the BEST!
