It was OK hotel. Obviously it is a national famous spot but I felt the service not great. Rooms spacious but bathroom is tiny. I told receptionist that I needed a quiet room but sent by one which is renovation just outside the door. I guess he didn’t know which means by “quite” Some restaurants employees not friendly even rude but some of them were nice. Foods were delicious, afternoon tea is classic except the host(she sent us a tiny table which the only view is a plain wall) I thought because it should be booked up but during 2hours dinning I saw plenty of empty tables then I just realized she did on purpose.

I cannot rave our trip and the hotel enough: we were treated like royalty every second, I’ve never experienced service like this, and I travel often. Well, well worth the price. Special shout out to Andrew who was our server for our last supper. SO kind and funny, helped us piixk a perfect supper, so attentive. Unfortunately I didn’t get names for all the staff we interacted with, but seriously… amazing across the board

Beautiful historic hotel, great location and any of the staff I interacted with were attentive and friendly. I was, however, disappointed with my room, for the price of the hotel I would have liked something less closet like. It was small and dim and ordinary looking. The bed was very comfortable though.
