The hotel was very clean, well staffed, had a wonderful breakfast and also a very nice on-site restaurant. Most sights were within walking distance and the tram was just outside the door. Excellent accommodation!

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay! The hotel was in a convenient location between the train station and the old town. The included breakfast was delicious. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a boutique hotel experience.

It was a beautiful historical hotel with charming architecture. The whole place was very clean and all the staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent as we dined in a beautiful room . The train stop was a short walk . Plenty of places to dine close by .

Although we were on the 3rd floor, there was a lot of noises specially early morning. Hotel is a little way from main centre, but easy transport to everywhere once you have mastered the metro, tram and buses. You can walk to the main sites but need good shoes as lots of cobbled areas.Breakfast plentiful, but a little congestered as buffet is in a small area, not easily navigated as hotel was busy, so lots of guests. Staff at Reception were all very pleasant and accommodating. Beautiful interior, clean and old-fashioned. You could imagine Miss Marple having afternoon tea in the salon.

The property was really charming and lovely. First time travelling with a baby and the staff made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious with different options every day. Don’t skip the coffee bar. The restaurant is extremely good and a must eat while you’re staying there. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A/C not working

The air-conditioning was not working. A fan was provided which was adequate because the outside temperature was around 25C. Would not have been pleasant if it was warmer. We were informed that although the controller states air conditioner -it was just an air-cooler. The on-site restaurant was also closed during the period of our stay.

This is a charming, historic hotel in a great location. Breakfast was delicious. Our main complaint was the lack of air conditioning. They said they had air in the room, and we adjusted the thermostat numerous times, but the temperature remained quite warm and room stayed stuffy. I’m glad I had a portable fan with me, which helped a bit.

This property is located close to a supermarket, cafes, a few restaurants and the tram! The neighborhood is very quiet and easy to navigate.

This is a fabulous old hotel with rich history . The staff was amazing, so nice, so helpful Gave us suggestions for eating. They provided us with a fan .I was so thankful there was air conditioning but, it had a set limit. The staff immediately suggested a fan which they got us ASAP. Staffed 24 hours at front desk .Highly recommend.
