The room was clean and cozy. All the decorative pieces in the room looked really beautiful and thoughtful. The cottage was surrounded by many trees and the owner let us pluck a few mangoes from the ones next to pool. There were also pool towels and chairs available near the office room. A big shout out to the owner, who not only made us feel comfortable during our stay, but built such beautiful place.

Beautiful room and wonderful host! Property is in walking distance of a lot of the main bars and restaurants and food trucks of the Esperanza coats area. The property itself has a picturesque pool area. We can’t wait to come back!

Property owner has alot of amenities that you coupd use such as beach chairs, towels and much more. Pool is clean and has a shower outside for you to rinse off. Great place to stay. Close to restaurants and bars. Highly recommend it.

Skip is a great guy to talk to and made sure everyone had the things and advice they needed, including during a blackout when he had his generator going. The hotel was an easy place to be for a few days. Esperanza is a small town with a lot of eating options that we enjoyed walking around and

Casa de Tortuga was just charming-- from the open-air office to the sweet pool area to the magical lighting effects throughout the property at night. It fit our budget and provided a surprising amount of amenities in the room. We enjoyed meeting the colorful proprietor and creator of this retreat,Skip, and we appreciate all the behind-the-scenes hard work that goes into welcoming visitors to this special part of Puerto Rico.

Great place in a great location!

What a great place to stay! Our room was nice and clean. A bit rustic, but you're on Vieques! You can tell Skip really cares about this place he has built over the years. Swimming pool! He offered free to use beach towels, chairs, and snorkeling gear. A very short walk to the "Esperanza strip". Would definitely stay again!
