The room had black mold on the A/C unit vents, there was a bandage over the fire alert system in the room, the door appeared to be previously broken into. I have pictures of everything I just went over, because the mold caused sever sneezing and coughing

The hotel was located in a quiet safe area… Except it’s very close to the navel base so off and on throughout the day you will hear planes. The room was clean and well set up except it was a little on the small side because there was no couch to sit on. The staff did a good job, but was not overly friendly. The restaurant left some to be desired… Service was haphazard. But there was plenty to choose from. There are also many restaurants that you can walk to from the hotel. The beach was lovely. It’s only a couple hotels down from a pier. On the Pier is acquaint and lovely little gift shop. Lots of shopping within walking distance, but traveling to go to other places was very easy.

I travel by car to Virginia Beach because loss of family member .Got very late to hotel and the person who took care of us at around5am told us that reservation was canceled got us a room by attitude didnt like was so tied got up next day when to funeral has to check out early do to some issue and asked for some refund never got anything I allways stay at Hampton inn but now considering mite consider other hotels keeping costumers should be priority and satisfying. And front desk be happy polite have smile on face .The maintenance and housekeeping personel where more polite and consern of one.

We had a pleasant stay despite the rainy weather. The hotel had some technical issues with the doors and gym/pool closure, and the shower made a funny sound. But otherwise it was a lovely stay, beautiful view, good breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the hotel and staff were during our stay. Every staff member was friendly.The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was great. We will definitely stay there again. Kudos Hampton Inn.
