TV was not working, hair everywhere in the bathroom, sofa bed sheets were stained up and dirty, pillow cases in bedroom were also really dirty. I was told I couldn’t check in until 4:00pm by the front desk but someone when asked before as able to check in around 2:00pm ish.

This property is not for families. I expense $650 for two days . Tryincancel but the owner “rules” don’t accept refunds. The sinks was broke ,I saw cockcranes in the drowns. Aren’t recommend this property for vacations.

The room itself was spacey and everything you could need if you’re looking for affordability on the oceanfront. Building stairwells are dark but there is only 1 elevator so unless you’re willing to wait you will have to get to your room up/down the stairs. One tv in the didn’t work, but If you don’t watch a lot of tv it won’t effect your stay. Pull out couches are very uncomfortable and springy, not much to help with that.

Beware. Beware.Beware Bugs .Bugs. Bugs This was the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER had at a Hotel. We checked in for a staycation on our WEDDING ANNIVERSARY 5/15 to enjoy the view of the ocean and get away from the city. I was almost willing to overlook the dirty tub that has a nonstop drip, dirty floors, and doors in which the knobs were falling off of ( I have pictures). It's crazy because the thing that bugged me the most and was also the last straw was the BUGS ON THE PATIO. You will not be able to enjoy the view because of the SWARM OF BUGS on the patio because the bright light on the top floor that we were informed doesn't turn off. So you'd think that because it was not a busy night and over half of the rooms at this entire establishment were still available, we'd be able to exchange rooms. WE WERE TOLD WE COULD NOT EXCHANGE ROOMS BECAUSE ALL THE ROOMS HAD BUGS AT NIGHT. The light on the top floor attracts bugs and destroyed privacy..OUR 10th Anniversary will be forever stained from the Marjac...Very True Story I know they will reply to this review but when I looked at reviews from years ago I see that some of the problems people have had has either not changed or gotten worse. They replied to those reviews that the problem wouls be addressed WHICH SEEMS TO BE A LIE. I wish I had looked at the reviews from all sources.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

we pulled up to the hotel to check in, we thought we were at the wrong place because it looks nothing like the photos online. It looked like efficiency units. People had bikes on their balconies and they were all outside smoking (even though a smoke free hotel). Since it was late when we finally got to the hotel, we decided to see if the rooms were any better than the curb appeal - they weren’t. We were traveling with another group so we had two different rooms on different floors. We asked to see the rooms before committing to staying there. The first room was on the second floor - the door handle to access that level of rooms was broken, so we had to go to floor 4. We get the second room and it was filthy. Ants on the floor, dust everywhere, POOP IN THE TOILET!!!!!!, stained couches — we knew we wouldn’t feel safe sleeping there. No deadbolts on the doors - the lights flickered on the motel floors like a horror movie. After seeing the state of the room, we went to front desk where the agent was very argumentative about the state of the property dismissing every valid issue we had. He refused to refund us so we had to call to speak with the owner and dispute with hotels.com —— never again. Also - this is in the not so nice part of town. A lot of clubs near by and very seaside nj meets Atlantic City. Stay far away.

When checked into my room it didn’t have toilet paper. The sheets and towels had a lot of stains. The tub had sand in it and hair & toilet paper the shower drain. Fake eye lashes on the stove top and sand and dirt all over the floor. Lastly around 11am the toilet and tub had feces back up and I had to ask Front desk to just switch my room. They were able accommodate and I was happy with my new room. Also I must say this is a party hotel people played music and parties all day all night until 5AM I didn’t get any sleep but I enjoyed VA BEACH

Staff here is very friendly and accomodating, overall while the property is being renovated it's still a bit dated overall but there's no denying the rooms still provide an amazing beachfront view. Obviously the parking situation could be better but with limited space its understandable. Of course it's not one of the nicer chain hotels but it still gets the job done and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

It was just a 2 day get away for me and son, Amazing location close to everything.Floors where dirty/sticky, pullout mattress had big stain but we didnt need to use. Could have used blankets. A litttle out dated.. but for price and location. And just a two day trip, it works.
