The oven and overhead stovetop light bulbs were out. Some dishes were dirty (which meant I washed them all before using any, because I didn't trust their cleanliness). There was no water pitcher, wooden cooking spoons, serving bowls (to serve a huge salad or big batch of pasta, for example), containers (for leftovers) or colander big enough to strain one cooked box of pasta (there was a tiny colander that seemed more like a joke than to accommodate the five of us). We found broken kitchen scissors, and while there are plenty of kid plastic cups, there aren't enough glasses. The cookie sheets should also be replaced, as those were disgusting. And, finally, the pillows were so flimsy -- they seemed like 20 years old, but not in a good way -- that some of us left a few days early because we could not sleep on them. This was definitely not worth the price we paid for the week, especially when I had to wash all the dishes upon arrival and leave early due to the terrible pillows.
