This place was in a veey safe walkable area. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The offiste parking garage at varsity that the stafg helped me find was a good price and not far.

Awesome stay there to roam Washington DC with my family and parents. Staffs were great and parking is just backside of the facility. It has kitchen and utensils so no need to carry anything if you are planing to stay there for longer and cook by yourself. Across the road there is grocery shop and you will get everything what you need including bouquets, wine beers and all food items. Awesome place.

Very nice hotel, excellent staff, loud neighbors.

The hotel is very nice. Location is excellent. 15-20 min walk to the national mall. Supermarket and a few stores, restaurant and pubs across the street. Short walk to George town which is very fun area. We were there on a weekend so we easily parked on the street. The rooms are big, clean and conferrable. Kitchen is a bit outdated but very well equipped. 24 hours front desk. Overall, we had an excellent stay and this is a very good hotel. The only problem was that we had bed luck with VERT loud neighbors. A group of about 10 young people who came to party. First night, they got back to the room around midnight and were up and loud till 5am!! However, on the second night we asked the (very nice) guy at the front desk and he went up and talked to them. He was amazing and he had to go up twice but eventfully (around 1am) they were quieter. So, I think putting families next door to such a group was not good idea BUT the front desk person was amazing trying to solve it.

Room that we were in was a bit worn and could have been cleaner. It’s getting to the time a renovation is needed (kitchen is older). Fold out bed from couch was uncomfortable and was not flat when pulled out. Location and neighborhood are great. Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance and a metro shop is a short walk from hotel. Felt safe being out at night. Staff was very nice/helpful and friendly.

It is technically a walkable to all attractions which include White House and Memorial area. The local busline across the street can take you straight to main shopping street and Virginia or the attractions. George Washington university is right around the corner where the metro station is located too. Location is excellent.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Legitamitely the worst place I have ever booked. BUYER BEWARE, THIS PLACE DOES NOT HAVE AC AND/OR HEAT. They only have one or the other, and they control. Does their listing state they have both? Sure does... Do they have thermostats in the room? they sure do. Does that mean anything? NO, because when you turn on the air before may 1st, it will just blow heat out regardless of what your setting is. The solve for this from the hotel was to tell me too bad and to give me the most disgusting box fan I've ever seen. My son touched the side of it and was covered in dust. It's simply false advertising. In addition to this, they must have hired a 5 star professional photographer for this place because if you only realized how DINGY AND DISGUSTING THE ROOMS, HALLS AND OVERALL LOCATION IS. Do the pictures show hard floors and nice open kitchen? Sure do, does that matter? No because every room is disgusting dingy carpet and the kitchen looks like it's from the 1950s and is in a little room closed in. I sat on the couch and next thing I know a bug is crawling on my arm. Stains everywhere, broken furniture. I left within the first 2 hours after checkin as the hotel staff was as rude as can be. I had to uproot my entire family (wife & 3 kids) after a full day of travel to DC & they wouldn't even give me a full refund, still charged me for the room even though they clearly lie to their customers. Hotels.com should remove their listing completely or at least fix the listing to be accurate.

Realizing that it is a city hotel - it is slightly aged and could have been cleaner. The room did not offer tissues and one of my kid’s allergies was acting up. The air conditioning was horrible. It was hot in the room. Tough to sleep. The beds were not comfortable at all and the pull out couch was dirty with stains and extremely uncomfortable. Parking was city and horrible - especially with kids. It was a safe hotel.
