Authentic Log cabin with something for everyone!

An authentic log cabin on 7 acres with a small lake in the front yard. Sleeps 10 in beds (10 maximum capacity). More wildlife than imaginable. Every time of day brings out different animals and birds. Built for family gatherings and fun. Enjoy swimming in the lake. Enjoy feeding the fish (we do not allow fishing) as all fish have been hand raised and are pet like. We do provide fish food for your enjoyment (and theirs:). Enjoy local historical places, numerous wineries and breweries all within 10 miles. Ride the Katy Trail, and do some local shopping. Be sure to visit historical downtown Washington, which is one of the top ten historical districts in the US. Daniel Boone home and monument are close and worth visiting. Busch's wildlife conservation area has over 50 stocked lakes for fishing and other outdoor fun. All of these attractions are within 10 minutes of the cabin.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Garbs House. You'll find features such as laundry facilities. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cabin.

The fireplace CANNOT be used. It’s potentially dangerous for guests, experienced or not, therefore we have not cleaned or inspected it in years.
Pets are welcome, however, excessive pet hair, pet excrement and/or pet damage could/will result in forfeiture of deposit.
Each additional guest over (4) is $15 per person per night. Maximum occupancy is 10 guests. Special circumstances considered with prior approval.

This is our second time staying at this cabin. This is a very relaxing location close to Marthasville and a short drive to wineries and historic venues. The host is always very helpful and easy to communicate with. It was a great spot for a quick winter relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay again.

Third year in a row staying in this beautiful cabin. They have made several updates, which enhanced the experience even more. Always extremely clean! Good communication with host. Tranquil property but also very close to restaurants and shops in Washington MO. Highly recommended getaway.

We booked this adorable rustic log home over Christmas. The setting on the lake is amazing. Inside, the bedrooms were spacious and the open kitchen, dining and living room was great for families comfort and gathering spot for games, stories and fun!Our host was so gracious and was Johnny on the Spot with answers to any questions.
