all was good. Did not cook while we were there but all liked like there was adequate cooking equipment. One thing that was missing was a wine bottle opener.Home was clean and adequate space for all. Might suggest another tv as we had several guests who did not all want to watch sports or same movie.
Great location to metro and close to several grocery stores and restaurants. House was as described in the listing. We loved the house and convenience. The only issue we had was just the noise from outside. We might just not be use to a more urban environment but you could hear traffic and people outside.
This gem in the beautiful capital/Eckington neighborhood is a treat for DC visitors. It was scrupulously clean, smelled clean, and every inch is carefully arranged without unnecessary clutter. The towels are plush, the linens are crisp, and the duvets are soft. This high-ceilinged beauty provided perfect comfort and tons of space for three professionals attending a conference at the Washington Convention Center. It is slightly over a mile from the center, but we decided against walking because we werenât experienced with busy intersections. However, our rideshares came quickly and the cost was from seven to 25 per ride. Thereâs a wonderful market with sandwiches, wine, and snacks less than a block away and a bagel store just beside it. Itâs difficult to describe just how beautiful this home is, but weâll just say it was a privilege to be able to rent it. A special thank you to the owner for their minimal presence in the process. We were treated like adults who would respect the property and that is what we did.
Quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to Capitol Hill. Within walking distance to good restaurants. Comfortable and relaxing home environment. Overall - great accommodations.
The house was clean and tidy, exactly as described. Comfortable beds, full kitchen, laundry and plenty of hot water for showers. Would highly recommend. Easy commute into DC for all the visitor attractions.
I am a 24 year renter of VRBO, and a previous VRBO owner/ manager. Owner advertises âSleeps Eightâ. But realize that ANY guests over 3 people are charged a supplement per person PER NIGHT. In my opinion, this IS NOT a premium home in a premium neighborhood. Living room has inadequate seating for 3 in the only room with a TV. NO extra toilet paper, or paper towels. NO dishwasher detergent⊠NO garbage cans to dispose of household trash. Windows malfunction, and master bed window was stuck open. I cannot recommend this home in good conscience.
We had a wonderful stay at this home in Washington, D.C.! The house was immaculately clean and provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. The walkability to the metro station made getting around super convenient, and we loved seeing so many people out walking their dogsâit gave the neighborhood a friendly and welcoming feel. One thing to note is that there is only one TV in the home, but we were so busy enjoying the city that it wasnât an issue for us. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely book again!Thank you for a fantastic experience!
House was very clean, nicely decorated and great location. There is a tenant in the basement so there are quiet hours in the morning and evening. We also had a bit of a heat issue since we were there during the winter⊠The homeowner was attentive and provided space heaters.
This was a really comfortable, homey place to stay in Washington DC. Clean, with a lovely feel. Perfect for s family. Convenient for Union Station and Capitol Hill in particular.
This VRBO was an excellent property to stay at. Very clean and well-maintained, within walking distance to many restaurants and amenities, incl. a bike path. I would happily book again when returning to DC!
