Really like the property and room. First time staying and I’d stay again. Wasnt a fan of the iron being in a common area outside my room and the water pressure and temperature weren’t conducive to an adequate shower, imo.

Great choice! We loved being able to control the lighting, air and blinds by a tablet provided in the room. The shower was kind of fancy, and temperature knob got jammed one night, but it did not ruin our stay. Someone came up to fix it, and it was fine. Would stay again!

It’s a beautiful place but misses the point: comfort. The bed came with no sheets, just a bed cover. The bed cover was too small; it was a queen size in a king size bed. The setup of the room was weird as well- if someone has to get up in the middle of the night to pee, it is totally audible, then washing hands is loud. Not to mention needing to crawl over the other person to get to the bathroom. The provided “shower soap” dries out your hair and doesn’t make you feel clean. There wasn’t much thought put towards your comfort.

Surprisingly, the area is super quiet and in the middle of DC for dirt cheap. The only issues were mice and rats (in the center of DC) outside the property - closer to that garage and the room had a smell. Do not park on street. Parking in the garage directly down the street for $22/day rather than $52/day next door. We only had to pay 1 fee of $22 because we had our car parked multiple nights without leaving :)

Rooms were extremely small but very clean. Bed is anchored to the wall so whomever is sleeping by the window has to crawl over their partner/spouse to get in or out of bed. A/C didn't seem to work and bar/grill hours were inconsistent. (Bar was closing 2 hrs early when we arrived to get some dinner after traveling)

I got to my room and there was no Ipad. I called the front desk and they said they didn't have any additional ipads. The entire room, lights, tv, and ac are controlled by the ipad. In addition my room flooded from the shower. They said they would send additional towels but they never showed up. They didn't have any staff on until 8am to address the situation.

The rooms were incredibly small, but they were cozy, loved the window view, and all the staff were amazing. I would definitely stay here again. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

CitizenM is a favorite. Great customer service at the desk, great location, close enough to everything you need but far enough removed so that you can park with relative ease. The rooms are nicely appointed and affordable. Win-win-win.

Cramped and impersonal

The room was clean and modern, but quite small and cramped for two people. The front desk staff was helpful, but there was no phone in the room to call the staff. The iPad FAQ was incomplete and some answers were inaccurate. Overall it felt a bit impersonal and unwelcoming.
