The room was incredibly hot and we adjusted the thermostat but it was programmed to not go lower than 71. It was too hot in the room to enjoy. Also, only having washers/dryers (4 of each, which one of each was broken) on only the third floor was incredibly inconvenient. I had to wait for others to get their laundry that was finished before I could use it. I stayed on the twelfth floor so it wasn't easy to go back and forth to keep checking.

Nice, clean, quiet room. I wish, though, there was a way to request a room close to the elevators. I had with me my 93-year old mother who I was taking to Washington Hospital Center for a heart procedure, so it was quite a trek. I suppose I could’ve asked the front desk, who was very helpful with things that I did ask about.. My only complaint was the difficulty with the valet parking. When we arrived, cars were double parked in the valet area. There was no indication of what to do. So I parked across the street and went to the concierge, who told me to just get in line and I’d have my car parked. So I circled around, and now there were only a few cars. But as I sat there for 15 minutes, I realized none were being moved. So into the hotel I went again, where I was told this time to turn off and lock my car, and bring the key to the concierge. Much better! The room service food was amazing! We got room service twice. I got the ahi tuna salad and the tuna was perfect - seared on the outside, barely cooked inside. Last night I got the smash burger, and again, perfectly cooked. And both nights it was so fast! The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.
