This is my second stay at Hotel Hive and I chose it again because it's so cute and very convenient. A 15 min metro ride from DCA and the metro is a 5 min walk away from the hotel. The rooms are small, yes, but that's why it's a micro hotel. It still has all the things you need. My only complaint is who decided to put a reading lamp attached to the wall 6 inches out at the HEAD of the bed? I definitely smoked my head off it more than once, which wasn't pleasant. That's my only complaint though, It's a great hotel minus the light situation,

Good location if you’re wanting to stay downtown and not break the bank. There are limited food options nearby but we loved the pizza they served at the hotel. There are great restaurants at the Georgetown riverfront which is still within walking distance. The hotel had very good breakfast sandwiches. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we return to DC.

Double charge in credit card

I eas charged in the property and also in the application. Two different credit cards. We were charged twice for the whole stay. The app was not suposed to charge and it did after we paid at the property..pls help

Room was great for the price. Location near GW was perfect. Staff was quite nice. Brought our dog - pet friendly and room was surprisingly allergy-free (allergic to cats). Staying again in a few weeks and would recommend.

The staff were so friendly. Our room was very small though. The sink was in the main room away from the toilet and shower. Not much space for two people- for one though it would be fine. In a great location close to amenities.

Room was comfortable and clean. Amenities were great. Staff was so helpful and kind with everything! Restaurant was delicious and accommodated our party for a graduation celebration. However, they wanted to charge us $25 for bringing in a celebratory cake after we spent hundreds on food and drinks. That was stupid!

The hotel had a very cool vibe. What made it excellent was the staff. EVERYONE was super friendly, but we especially enjoyed talking with Jess and Oscar at the bar. The Bee Sting drink is too easy to drink! We were able to walk to the National Mall and to our event, which was a big plus. The bed was comfy. Bring earplugs for the street noise. I gave 4 stars for amenities because there's no fridge or microwave, but a desk clerk brought me a mini fridge upon request for our dog's food. It was a really nice experience.
