Amazing location! Such a cute, walkable neighborhood with plenty of restaurants! Close to everything we want to see. Clean, quiet rooms, excellent staff, wonderful bar! If we go back to DC we will definitely stay at the Lyle!

Charming boutique hotel near Dupont Circle. The staff was friendly and attentive. The dining room was beautiful. The decor had flair. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to DC. The hotel far exceeded my expectations.

I've stayed at the Lyle before, and the staff are wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, and it's very conveniently located. The gym is very nice. The room this time had a very odd smell, so we had to keep the windows open, otherwise we had our usual excellent stay.

I chose to stay at the Lyle for its location. It is a good hotel but nothing truly special. This trip I had a room next to the elevator. This is when I discovered that the hotel does nothing to soundproof the rooms. I would hear every conversation by people waiting for the elevator or stepping out of it as if they were inside my room. I stayed 3 nights. I was awoken every night by people using the elevator.
