I have to say that if I did DC again I would probably stay in town. We did not take the metro, maybe should have tried, but it was a hassle getting an Uber and the traffic was horrible into DC so we left ourselves an hour to get from Arlington to downtown. The other thing about this apartment is there was no instructions in the unit, usually there are instructions on check out, what to do w trash etc. It is also super sparse, not a lot there, if you are staying for awhile there is not a lot to cook with, no coffee filters, cupboards are mostly empty. Coffee cups were dirty, had to wash before we used them. You could get coffee in the lobby downstairs but there were no cups. The toilet paper holder in the master bath was broken off, I found it under the sink. Not the best place we have stayed in but not horrible either. It was very secure although we tried to get the front desk many times in the evenings and no one answered, they are suppose to staff it til 11:00 pm. If you stay here make sure you bring what you need with you.
