When I checked into the room there was wax that had spilled on the carpet in about ten different spots. It looked as if they tried to clean two spots and since it didn't clean very well they didn't bother cleaning the other spots. Talked to front desk and they said they knew about it. So they just left it there on floor to rent to someone else. Called manage and have left messages asking for him to call and no return call. Other than that be disgusting. The rest of the hotel was ok. Just upset that they can confront me and make it right for the customer.

For the price they charged, the breakfast offered was not good. Bananas overly ripe, powdered eggs were horrible. They would do better to lower the price of the room and not offer breakfast.

Air conditioning did not work properly, very humid in room. Looked like fresh blood/ vomit stains on floor that we asked to be cleaned but didn’t get done. Also stains on bed covering and we took it down to get a new one. Beds not made on our second day. Definitely overpriced for what it has become.

An overall good weekend with a couple complaints

Waited a bit to check in. The woman at the front was friendly and helpful. I feel like dogs were welcome not just tolerated. Plenty of spots for my dog to relieve himself with bags and garbage. The hotel location was perfect for our trip. We walked to where we wanted to go. There was a street festival going on Saturday evening and it was so much fun. The room was very nice. We liked the high ceilings and the bathroom. Also the plugs by the bed. The shower was amazing. The bathroom was bright and well lit. My partner thought the bed was too hard. Another thing is that our frig didn’t seem very cold. It was my fault for not calling down to mention it. We chose your hotel mainly because we heard it was a good breakfast. I didn’t mind it because I like oatmeal and waffles but my partner was disappointed in the meat (he wasn’t even sure what kind it was) and the eggs (with the peppers) We ended up going out for breakfast the second morning. Did we pay for parking? I thought there was free parking but when we got there it was $15. Was that per night? I’ll have to look at the bill more closely. It was weird to be charged because anyone could just go in the lot to park. That’s about it. Overall a good stay and a great weekend.

UNI family weekend

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Main Street( restaurants, bars, shopping.). Nice breakfast options. Nice staff. The room we stayed in was comfortable, temperature stayed cool, clean. Maybe could use some updates, like the carpet in the rooms, but overall a great stay!

Room was adequate - only thing I didn’t like was the barn door on the bathroom door. I’ll never understand this design decision for hotel bathrooms. Pool was on the small side- even for a hotel, no hot tub. Area around the pool was also small, not a lot of room to avoid the splashing kids. Area was nice, lots of restaurants and bars, so location was great. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Curtain had a stain, box spring had a stain, it can get loud if you have a room facing downtown. Overall it was ok. All the staff, however, were excellent. Super friendly and helpful. The location was great as well.

Conveniently located near social district and easily walkable to bars and restaurants and the river. I noticed several areas of ceiling water damage and other more worn looking/missing wallpaper in the hotel however our room was clean and bathroom/shower nice. Pillows could be much better though and didn’t appreciate the required $15 fee for parking when they didn’t even ask if we had a car.
