The rooms were very clean, more spacious than expected, and the balcony views were breathtaking. I'm used to staying at places where you are greeted by a friendly and welcoming Front Desk, and that wasn't the case here. The staff are usually in their own world and just minds their own business. Check out was better for sure.

A lovely getaway

Hotel was easy to find and in a great location. Lake view was nice to have. Watching the deer by the lake from the balcony or the restaurant patio was fun. Hotel was a quiet getaway within perfect walking distance to everything. The red wine sangria was lovely.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Kilmorey and it is still our favorite place to stay and dine in Waterton. We stay in a lakefront king room and the deck facing the lake and room itself is awesome. Such cozy rooms with good amenities, a large bathroom, robes, coffee and tea, a fridge a lots of room to relax. The location in the quiet calm part of the bay is amazing and always protected from the wind with lots of shade for lounging on the deck. The pub is quaint with great food and the dining room is fabulous for breakfast that is top notch and dinner in the dining room or out on the wonderful patio is also first class with amazing food and options. The location is perfect for walking to any other shops or restaurants and lots of trails as well within walking distance. We love the Kilmorey and Waterton and will be staying here again when we return soon.

Great stay overall. Location right on the lake while being a short walk away from the town centre was great. Room was clean and as pictured online. Took away a star as we had a room with a leaking shower door. There was a sign in the room saying it was a known issue, but the only resolution was more towels to clean up after it. Onsite restaurant was great for breakfast but has some so-so dinners.

Rooms were clean and it was quiet in our room. I loved the personal touch of a tray with a teapot, teacups and cookies. Front desk Sean was very friendly and professional. Only thing was one of the servers in the restaurant treated us like we couldn’t afford to eat there and rolled her eyes when our baby made a noise. She wasn’t even crying just being a baby. There is more but we didn’t like her very much. The other server, I think her name was Jen, was genuine and kind. We would stay here again but probably avoid the restaurant. Or if we do and the nice waitress is there we will request her.

The room was excellent. Nice tall ceilings, great deck and view of the Lake. The bed was extremely comfortable. Restaurant was very nice for breakfast and dinner- sat outside on the patio.
