We rent out a lovingly furnished 2 1/2 room holiday flat (approx. 55m2) with a very well-equipped kitchen in our 380-year-old farmhouse between Wattwil and Ebnat-Kappel. The holiday flat is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. A baby travel cot and various accessories for small children are available (for an extra charge). Unfortunately we are not served by public transport.

There are various great family-friendly excursion destinations in the region. The flat is also very suitable for couples or individuals and the surrounding area invites you to enjoy beautiful hikes and marvellous excursions.

Summer
Toggenburg and Appenzellerland offer great hiking and biking trails. A visit to the Thur Falls in Unterwasser is a unique nature experience and the treetop path in the Neckertal or the sensory park in Ebnat-Kappel are definitely worth a visit. A trip to Lake Walen with a boat trip and a swim on the sandy beach are also among the highlights on hot days. If the weather is bad, the museum of customs in Urnäsch, the sound forge in Alt St. Johann or the Chocolarium in Flawil are great places to spend some time. There are swimming pools in Ebnat-Kappel and Wattwil, a minigolf course in Wattwil and a very cosy location in Wildhaus.

Winter
In winter, various skiing and tobogganing areas can be reached within 5 - 25 minutes by car. The Schwägalp with the romantic Latärnliweg trail can be reached in about 25 minutes by car and delights young and old alike. There is an artificial ice rink in Wildhaus and an indoor swimming pool with climbing wall & 76 metre long water slide in Bütschwil. If the snow conditions are favourable, there is a cross-country ski trail next to our house. Sledging, snowshoeing and ski touring are also possible right on the doorstep if there is enough snow.
Ski areas & ski schools: Tanzboden or Wolzenalp within 5 - 10 minutes by car and Alt St. Johann, Wildhaus or Hemberg within 20 - 25 minutes by car.
