The kitchen is not for gourmet cooks, & it is too bad the dining area does not open to the spectacular view, but the house is roomy, the deck view is gorgeous & you are in a quiet setting, close to downtown Wellfleet. We enjoyed our stay!

This was a perfect location for us, we love Wellfleet, close to our favorite beaches and a quiet road. It was perfect size for our group of 8.The furniture desperately needs updating!

This is a wonderful serene house called “Windsong,” You can sit on the deck or in the living room and are surrounded by views of swaying trees and the far off marshland. Very peaceful. We have rented houses in Wellfleet many times over the years, but this is the only one I would return to.

Great home for family vacations

This property exceeded expectations in that it was very spacious and quiet with a grand view from the interior walkout sliding picture windows to the large expansive deck. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving our family group. The whole experience was very positive and relaxing.

Wellfleet Wonder

My first stay in Wellfleet. Have stayed in the Cape yearly for 60 years. Loved it. It’s quiet but close to Ptown and Orleans. The restaurants are the best on the cape. Our accommodation was clean with spectacular views. Already talking about next year. Property management was great. Had to relocate during the summer for a property with different room selections and they made the process easy with just an email. Great all around

We love Wellfleet and chose this property because of its proximity to town. It has a wonderful deck with a view. However even with those two selling points, this rental was not worth it. The kitchen was infested with ants and for the week we were there we were killing them daily. The management company did spray during the week but that just left us with dozens of dead ants on the floor each day. The house and furnishings are dated. The deck could have at least a few decent chairs and umbrella but was furnished with some rusted chairs and small table. The kitchen (even if it was insect free) was small and if you want to cook (as we do) doesn’t leave you with any room. Management company did answer the phone and was responsive but overall, this was not worth the money.

Cute House Close To Town

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. There was a good amount of space and bedrooms for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement and the view from the deck was beautiful. This house could use a little bit of upgrading, including the AC window units that were incredibly loud. We were lucky that our stay was during cooler weather. The screens on the windows and glass on the side door were all warped and loose. Del Mar Vacations was wonderful in their responsiveness and we will definitely rent through them again, but probably not this property.

Three generations on vacation

Grandparents, kids and grandkids vacationed for a week at 14 marsh end. The location is great, at the end of a cul-de-sac. The deck looks out on the marsh and that is where we spent most evenings. Lovely view. The management company was very responsive to a variety of issues that arose Including that the screens were not in the screen porch when we arrived. On the downside, the kitchen is very small with almost no surfaces for working (though it is pretty well equipped). We are a group that loves to cook so this was a problem for us. Seating on the screened in porch was not big enough for all of us(six adults and three kids) and the dining room wasn’t big enough either (and it was a bit claustrophobic). The area in front of the house could use some landscaping. It seemed neglected.

Lovely Wellfleet House

Vacationed with my husband, 2 adult daughters with their spouses & 2 grandchildren (2 & 5 yo). The house was great: Spotless and well equipped. We all loved it. Hope to return again next year.

Comfortable House

My family and I enjoyed our stay here, the house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The porch was beautiful, but we were disappointed that there were no screens, so the sliding glass doors were shut most of the time to keep out the mosquitos. Also, and most importantly, a change should be made to the description of the rooms on the first floor-- there is one master bedroom on the first floor--that is the only bedroom on the main floor (the description says there are two bedrooms on the first floor). I rented this house specifically for my elderly parents and mother in law so they would not have to walk up and down the stairs.

Annual Girls' Trip

We had such a lovely stay for our 26th "Cape Girls'" trip. Communication with the host was easy, the home was beautiful. Having the linens provided was such a treat! We particularly enjoyed the view from the deck - absolutely gorgeous! The few concerns were managed easily and we thank the host for a wonderful stay in Wellfleet.

Nice house

House was a good location, spacious and comfortable, The deck was very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with glasses, plates etc. 4 of us and a little dog stayed here and the only complaint was that the pillows in the master bedroom were huge and uncomfortable. None of us liked any of the bed pillows, they were too full and did not give. We didnt sleep well. Apple TV is difficult to use, Newer Smart TV would have been better on the very rainy night that we stayed inside. We would stay at this house again and bring our own pillows.

14 Marsh End, Wellfleet

Very private, comfortable and spacious home for the 8 of us (6 adults & 2 children). Our only concern was that the railing around the newly constructed deck (2nd story) appeared to be temporary and not "up to code". We certainly hope this will be addressed in the near future because we loved the house and location and would stay here again.
