This was our second stay at this hotel, the other having been the previous week. unfortunately our ferry crossing was cancelled because of a storm. Eric was able to extend our stay one night stay for a further night with parking, but sadly they were fully booked for the two extra nights we needed. The location can’t be beat, next to a variety of excellent dining, shopping, and the port area, all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite, spacious and quiet despite the city centre location. The staff, especially Tamara, were super helpful. The suite kitchen area was fully equipped. I did have trouble with the washer, but Tamara whisked away our laundry to be done free of charge, and returned to our room that afternoon. Upon leaving we booked another stay three days later before our ferry to the South Island.

No. Just no. Old, no air conditioning, cannot open a windiw, uncomfortable furnishings, rubbish only removed after your stay and there is no recycling, plus you hear all noises from other units. Nothing like the photos. Do not know how this property has a 4 1/5 rating.

The apartment had everything you needed and the rooms were a decent size and it was comfortable but it lacked soul and warmth. It was all very dull or no colour - just pale cream and grey/black/brown and nothing on the walls making it feel empty. Ok if all you want is a bed but if you want to spend anytime there, i wouldnt recommend
