We rented this place for 3 days, despite the last negative review we read, we were in contact with the host to make sure, above all, cleanliness and the smell of cigarettes were in optimal condition, since we explained to the host that my husband and I have critical health conditions (lungs disease and cancer). The host assured us that this was not going to happen. Despite the fact that we paid for 3 days, we arrived at the property the second day we rented at 10 PM and the smell of cigarettes was irresistible and we had to look for accommodation at that time since we couldn't stay there. Right away, we wrote to the host and after a back-and-forth conversation, the host agreed to talk to the owners to give us a refund. We have not received a response or a refund even though the fact that we do not use the property at all. I believe that when you have a property for rent you should be more communicative and honest because no one knows what economic effort we do to rent these properties. We hope that no one goes through this bad experience and we hope that the owners will consider this for us.
