We stayed here in the middle of July. The day before we were to arrive I read the previous review and panicked. Called the contact number at about 6pm, which was immediately answered, and was somewhat reassured, but still concerned. But his place is wonderful. The keys were a little stiff, but worked fine. Built in 1893, according to the listing, we expected old. But it was very clean, no smell of mold. The plumbing worked just fine for us (3 adults and an almost 3 year old.) Can't comment on the laundry; we never used it. The 'leaking' AC was installed tilting in, so condensation drips in. We put a pan under it, but the AC needs adjusting. We found the beds to be fine. The glass doors on the third bedroom (a former study?) need some curtains, and, yes, they do bind some. Again, built in 1893! We loved the plaster moldings and all the built-ins, the arched doorways, the original porcelain sink with the cast-in spout. The small deck off the dining room was delightful in the warm evenings. The location was perfect for our needs, and just a 5 minute drive to a wonderful independent grocery and multiple restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
