The beach bar draws a ride crowd. The bartenders were even more rude. The apartment was dated but sufficiently clean. The beach is dirty.

It took the front desk clerk a 1/2 hour to check us in it was rediculous. There were no other guests on the property.

The room itself was very clean and accommodating on arrival. We only received fresh towels on one occasion, leaving soiled linens behind. Sand accumulated and I used a towel to "sweep" the floor to prevent sand from spreading everywhere. Although booked as a non-smoking facility, smoking was allowed EVERYWHERE except the rooms. This included right outside our room which was surrounded by pot smoke, as people sat outside their rooms smoking constantly. Despite complaints where we were assured they shouldn't be smoking in those areas, it continued: on the decks, at the bar and at the beach. A totally disgusting experience. I was also accosted by a drunk woman waving a grocery list, asking me to get her groceries. My belief is the suites are housing DSS recipients, which makes any guest stay undesirable. Never, ever recommended Sandy Shore Motel!!!

We’re a couple who stayed just after Labor Day. Staff was friendly and the place was in good shape for having just been through a busy summer.

Would not recommend this motel unless your looking for a crappy beach hotel Was in town for a wedding and the pictures on the website looked nice. Far from that. Not a picture on the wall, lamp on the night stand or even as much as a box of tissues. 1/2 roll of toilet paper Mini frige was in the bottom of the closet no door on the little freezer part of it. Completely iced up. A lot of black crud on the outside of the AC. For over $700 for 2 nights yes I did expect a little more

Looked like a yr of food and dirt under the bed. Turned on shower and shower head fell off. Couldn't shower. Bathroom sink wouldnt drain. Tv wouldnt turn on. Filthy beyond belief. No one in office at night after 9pm to fix issues.
