We stayed for five nights, had a great room, big with a view over the water. It was clean, fresh, and modern. We had dinner in the Hotel restaurant on two nights, and the food and service were excellent. Good experience all round.

Comfortable hotel with superb breakfast

Very comfortable room, lovely bed and bedding, fabulous breakfast with huge choice, and hot plates. Good meal in Ballast Bar. Central location with free private parking. Only negatives were that time slots we were offered for breakfast were very limited (nothing between 8.30 and 11 when we’d have like to go at 9am), and some maintenance issues, extractor fan in bathroom and tv remote not working. Also bedroom doors are impossible to close quietly, resulting in some disturbance.

Pretty nice place overall. The room was nice and overlooked the bay but it was hot and there was no a/c so we had to open the windows at night. When the bar closes there’s a lot of noise in the street from everyone talking so loudly. Still we had a great stay.

Great location for night out in Wexford

Stayed in a lovely spacious room with sea views. Three of us shared a room and we had a bed each. Ate in the bar, which was very busy, advisable to book or you can wait and have a drink in the lobby. Excellent service from Macmillan who was so busy but he was lovely..

Our room was incredibly small for a double room. There was an additional single bed in the room! Could not work the TV. Car park was under construction so the parking situation was difficult. The hotel bar was great… good food, drink and atmosphere. All the staff were great. Would have been happier with a nicer room .
