Very clean and comfortable with nice furnishings. Great setup in the one bedroom suite, which had everything we needed. The only quirks were the need to check in at the sister property next door, how warm the suite was (prevented us from using the fireplace as we wanted,l), and the placement of the light switches.

Comfortable stay away from the main village

We’ve stayed at the Legends property next door and much prefer Evolution instead. The rooms are more comfortable and well maintained. We had a noise and leak issue which the staff addressed immediately and informed the guests upstairs to quiet down and to not splash the bath tub.

Stayed a number of times and love it. However, on this occasion, we were knocked on 5 minutes before our check out time to ask how long before we were leaving, even though we had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We were ready and about to exit with our cases, but I don't expect a knock during our paid for time.

Comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, washer/dryer and soaking tub were a plus! We were on the first floor, so we did hear the noise above us, and the blinds are not completely blackout so we had some sunlight in the mornings waking us up. There were a few maintenance issues that were handled promptly. The village itself is beautiful, walkable and had great food and coffee options. It’s just a short five minute drive from the main Whistler. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property! Whistler is just Gorgeous!

Overall, our stay was great! It had a rocky start which is why I docked 1 star. We booked an extended stay for an anniversary getaway and reserved a 1bd king with walk in shower/separate tub. The listing info says there is an additional deposit for the stay. Approx 4 to 5 days previous to our departure date, we received check-in information which suddenly changed the deposit from a flat fee to per night. We were staying 8 nights, so this significantly increased our deposit. I reached out to the establishment asking about the discrepancy and waited 2 days with no response. I then contacted hotels.com customer service and they pushed for answer for us. Finally, Evolution responded on day 3 and clarified that it is one price if you pay cash but different if on a credit card. Okay, but it should be detailed in the listing as such, and response time to questions from booked guests should be better. We arrived and checked in early evening. Dropped off bags and went to get dinner. When we got back, I realized we had been placed in a different room than what I had selected. I called the front desk and was told nothing they could do, to call back in the morning. In the morning, it went overall smoothly to getting it fixed. Thankfully, we had not unpacked much in anticipation of moving so it was not terribly difficult to change rooms. That is when the stay finally went right and we had a very lovely time there after. Room was clean and very nice. The hot tub and sauna are amazing!
